Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

“I” and “me” means Ankit Rai (ANKITAI), an independent developer and digital marketer in India, serving clients across the country. “You” means the person or business hiring me. These terms apply to every project unless we agree something different in writing (a quote, proposal, email or WhatsApp message counts) — if they differ, what we agreed for your project wins.

2. Services

Websites and web apps, custom software and CMS, e-commerce, redesigns and rebuilds, SEO / AEO / GEO, and ads on Meta, Google, ChatGPT, X (Twitter) & Grok, JioHotstar, LinkedIn and YouTube — described on the services page. Exactly what's included in your project is set out in your quote.

3. Quotes & scope

• Prices on this site are starting prices; your quote depends on pages, features and content.
• Every quote lists what's included, the timeline and the price. Work outside it is quoted separately before I start it.
• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless they say otherwise.
• Timelines are estimates and depend on getting your content, feedback and approvals on time.

4. Payment — 30% advance

• 30% advance once you commit to the project (after we agree the scope and price). Work starts when the advance is received.
• The remaining amount is paid as we decide together for your project — usually on delivery, or in milestones for bigger builds.
• Ownership of the work passes to you once the full amount is paid.
• Payments can be made by UPI, bank transfer or another method we agree. Prices are in Indian rupees unless the quote says otherwise; applicable taxes are added where required.

5. Lifetime support & bug fixing

Every website or app I build for you includes lifetime support and free bug fixing for as long as I offer my services:

• Bug fixing, free — if something I built doesn't work as delivered, I fix it at no cost.
• Support — help using your website, CMS or admin panel, and advice when you need it. I'm always one message away.

Not included (quoted separately, always before work starts):

• New features, new pages, redesigns or changes to what was agreed.
• Problems caused by changes made by someone else, or by third-party services, plugins, hosting or platform updates outside my control.
• Domain, hosting, email and paid-tool renewals, which are paid by you.

6. What I need from you

• Content — text, logo, photos, prices and details — on time, and the right to use it. You're responsible for the content you provide.
• Feedback and approvals within the agreed time.
• Access to accounts I need (domain, hosting, Google, Meta), which you own and can revoke at any time.

7. Ownership & portfolio

• Once paid in full, the website and the content made for you are yours.
• Until then, the designs and code remain mine.
• Tools, libraries and code I reuse across projects stay mine; you get a permanent licence to use them in your project.
• I may show the finished work in my portfolio, saying it belongs to you. If you'd rather keep it private, tell me and I'll mark it confidential.

8. Free samples & previews

Free samples, system-generated previews and proposals I make before you hire me remain my property. Using, copying or sharing their design or any part of it without my written consent is not permitted. If you go ahead with the project, the sample becomes part of your paid work.

9. Ads & third-party costs

• Ad budgets (Meta, Google, ChatGPT, X, JioHotstar or any other platform) are decided by you and paid directly to that platform. My fee covers managing the ads.
• Ad platforms have their own rules and may reject or pause ads; I'll help fix issues but can't control their decisions.
• Domains, hosting, paid plugins, SMS / WhatsApp API and payment-gateway fees are third-party costs, paid by you.

10. Results

I work hard for real results, but no one can guarantee rankings, AI citations, traffic, leads or sales — they depend on search engines, ad platforms, competition and your business. I'll always tell you honestly what's working and what isn't.

11. Changes & cancellation

• Changes to the agreed scope are quoted before I do them.
• If a project is cancelled after work starts, the advance is adjusted against the work done so far, and anything further is settled as we agree.
• If a project is paused for more than 60 days for lack of content or feedback, we'll agree a new timeline (and price, if needed) to restart it.

12. Confidentiality & data

I keep your business information confidential and use it only for your project. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Liability

I'm responsible for doing the work with reasonable skill and care. I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, or for problems caused by third-party services. My total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid me for it.

14. Using this website

The content, design and code of ankitai.online are mine unless stated otherwise. Project screenshots belong to their owners, as shown on each case study. Please don't copy the site or misuse its forms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We'll always try to sort out any disagreement by talking first; if that fails, the competent courts in India have jurisdiction.
