Avani Academy: A Maths Tutoring Site With a Question Bank Inside
Add ANKITAI as a preferred source on GoogleIn short
Avani Academy (avani.sbs) is live: online maths tutoring for Grades 5–12 with Avani Shukla, for students in India, the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia — and behind the login, a question bank of about 50,000 questions with worksheets, PDFs and online tests. I built both.
Avani Academy is two things in one place. On the outside, avani.sbs is a website for online maths tutoring: Grades 5 to 12, one-to-one and small groups, live on Google Meet and Zoom, for families in India, the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia. Behind the login is the platform that does the teaching work: a question bank of about 50,000 questions with their answers, a PDF studio for worksheets and booklets, and online tests with each student's results. I built both, and the site is now live. Here's how it's put together.
The front: a tutoring site parents can trust
Parents choosing an online tutor want to know three things fast: who teaches, whether the lessons fit their child's curriculum, and how to try one. The home page answers them in that order — Avani Shukla, an Electronics & Communication Engineer with over 14 years of teaching experience; Grades 5–12 across GCSE, A-Level, Common Core, IB, the Australian Curriculum, CBSE and ICSE; and a free 30-minute trial lesson, with WhatsApp one tap away.
The curriculum section maps topics by stage — foundational (Grades 5–7), intermediate (8–10) and advanced (11–12) — and names the exams each stage prepares for, from ICSE and CBSE boards to GCSE, A-Level, AP Calculus and IB.
One classroom, five countries
The same tutor teaches families in five countries, so the site has a page for each — India, the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia — explaining the year levels, exams and lesson times there. A parent in Manchester and a parent in Toronto search differently and use different names for the same grade; each country page speaks their language.
Lessons are scheduled in the family's time zone: regular classes Monday to Friday and special weekend classes.
Built to be found and quoted
Every answer a parent might search for is on the page as text, not hidden in images: which grades and curricula, whether lessons work outside India, one-to-one versus groups, and what happens in the free trial. Those answers are also marked up as FAQPage structured data, and the tutor and academy are described with Person and EducationalOrganization markup, including her credential.
A blog answers longer questions — how to choose an online maths tutor, signs a child needs one, AP Calculus AB versus BC — so the site can be cited by Google and AI assistants on the questions parents actually ask.
Behind the login: the question bank
The platform holds about 50,000 questions with their answers for classes 6 to 12, organised by class, subject, book, chapter, exercise and topic. That structure is what makes it useful: a teacher can pull exactly the exercise a student is stuck on, or every question on one topic across books.
From there, teachers turn questions into worksheets, booklets and PDFs, or run online tests and follow each student's results. An AI assistant helps create new content, and nothing it writes is used until it passes a review queue.

Why one platform instead of two tools
Tutors usually keep questions in Word files and folders, make worksheets by copy-paste, and track results in a notebook. Putting the bank, the worksheets and the tests on one platform means the work done once — adding a question, checking an answer — is reused in every worksheet and test after it.
The same idea runs through the school portal I'm building for Chaitanya Public School: one set of records, many uses.
