How Much Does a Business Website Cost in India? My Real Prices

In short

“Website kitne mein banegi?” is the first thing almost every client asks me. Here are my actual starting prices — new websites from ₹4,999, redesigns from ₹2,000 — what changes the final quote, how payment works, and real sites at each level.

The first message I get from most businesses is a single line: “Website kitne mein banegi?” It's the right question, and it deserves a straight answer instead of “depends”. So here are the prices I actually quote, what makes one website cost more than another, how payment and ownership work, and live sites I've built at each level — so you can see what you'd be paying for before we even talk.

The short answer: from ₹4,999 for a new website

A new business website starts at ₹4,999, with a free consultation and a free sample design before you pay anything. A redesign of an existing website or web app starts at ₹2,000.

“Starts at” means a clean, fast, mobile-first site for a small business — your services, about, photos, contact, WhatsApp and Google Maps, with the basics of SEO done properly. The final quote depends on pages, features and content, and I confirm it in writing before work starts. It doesn't change halfway through.

What makes one website cost more than another

Price follows the work, not the industry. These are the things that move a quote up:

  • Number of pages and how much content needs writing or translating.
  • Languages — a site in Gujarati, Hindi and English is three sites' worth of text.
  • Tools on the site: EMI / FD / RD calculators, booking, search, logins.
  • An admin panel (CMS) so your team can update rates, notices or products without a developer.
  • E-commerce: products, cart, payments, delivery areas.
  • Custom software behind the site — portals, records, reports.

Example: a salon website, built and delivered

Be U Smart Salon in Science City, Ahmedabad needed what most local businesses need: show the services, make booking easy on a phone, and get found by people searching nearby. Its site has WhatsApp booking and Book Appointment buttons on every screen, an offers page, and local SEO for Science City and Sola.

I designed and built it alone, and delivered it on 28 September 2026. This is the kind of site the starting price is for.

Example: three languages and calculators

Co-operative credit societies need more. Sindh Co-operative Credit Society in Vadodara (est. 1974) and The Dehgam Nagarik Sahakari Sharafi Mandali (est. 1998) both have schemes, interest rates, EMI / FD / RD calculators, notices and downloads — in Gujarati, Hindi and English. More pages, more languages and working calculators mean a higher quote than a salon site, and you can see why.

Example: ready designs you can have from ₹4,999

Some designs were made as free samples for clients who didn't go ahead. They're available for your business from ₹4,999 — a mutual-fund and insurance advisory site with six financial calculators (Jigajinni), and a solar components supplier site with a product catalogue and admin CMS (MY SOLAR).

When it's no longer “a website”

An online store with repair booking and tracking, like the one I'm building for One Click Computer in Ahmedabad, or a school portal with four logins, is custom software. Those are quoted on scope after a discussion, because the work is measured in modules, not pages. I'll tell you upfront if what you're asking for is in that category.

How payment and ownership work

You pay 30% in advance once you've seen the sample and decided to go ahead; the rest as agreed for the project. Every website I build comes with lifetime support and free bug fixing. Once it's fully paid, the website is yours — the design, the content and the code.

Domain and hosting are separate running costs, and I'll tell you what they are for your site before you commit.
